Federico Chiesa makes Cristiano Ronaldo admission amid Manchester United transfer link

Italian Euro 2020 star and Juventus striker Federico Chiesa has admitted his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo.

It comes at an interesting time with less than a week before the January transfer window opens and the 24-year-old linked with a Premier League move – and a slew of teams are said to be interested.

Chiesa burst into the spotlight after helping Roberto Mancini’s Italian side win Euro 2020, beating England on penalties in the final.

Chiesa was one of the tournament’s top performers, as she was in the middle of a two-year loan spell with parent club Fiorentina Juventus.

The winger has been out of action for the past few weeks after sustaining an injury and is apparently looking forward to spending the rest of the season at the Turin club.

However, rumors about his future continue to grow – speculation intensifies about a possible Premier League move.

And United fans will be delighted to hear what Chiesa has to say about their No.7 star Ronaldo.

He said: “Cristiano is from another planet, it was exciting training with him and seeing what he does to be so strong.

“I had the chance to hang out and watch one of the best players in football history live.”

The two spent a year together in Turin – a disappointing year for the team that finished fourth.

Juventus continue to struggle once again this season as they currently sit in 5th place in the table and could look to make a huge profit on Chiesa, once he signs definitively for just £ 33million this summer.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea have all been heavily linked with a move by the Italian.
