The Fairfield High School class of 2004 combines with the classes of 2006 and 2008 to raise money for the Dugger and Link families.
Steven Dugger is a 2004 Fairfield graduate who recently suffered major medical emergencies including traumatic brain injury and kidney failure after collapsing due to an unknown cardiac event.
Heath Link graduated from Fairfield in 2006 and his wife, Rachel (Burns) Link, graduated from Fairfield in 2008. Their 4-year-old daughter, Maddie, was recently diagnosed with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma.
The benefit will take place at the Fairfield High School ballparks just outside of Leesburg during the Little League evening games on Thursday, June 30. The rainy date is July 1.
Items for lunch and the silent auction will also be available before the start of the evening games. The committee will be set up for food, silent auctions and voluntary donations from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Donations for silent auction items can be dropped off at Mane Street Salon and Batter Up Bakery through June 24. oxen, and more. For updates and photos of auction items, follow the benefits Facebook page at @duggerlinkbenefit.
The committee will be selling t-shirts (presale only) to pick up at the event or deliver to individual addresses. Check the Facebook page for more information on purchasing T-shirts. Sales will begin on June 1.
Voluntary donations may also be payable at any Southern Hills Community Bank location: “Dugger-Link Benefit” now through June 30.
