Jenni Falconer wins thousands for charity on The Weakest Link and fans are all saying the same

Jenni Falconer’s FANS are all saying the same after winning thousands of dollars for charity on tonight’s episode of The Weakest Link.

The Scottish radio presenter has appeared in the BBC’s hit quiz to raise money for The Children’s Trust.

The 45-year-old survived the votes to make it to the final tournament, where she and comedian Joanne McNally faced questions from host Romesh Ranganathan.

The Glasgow-born mother-of-one gave three correct answers when opponent Joanne gave her third wrong answer to the Ashes to Ashes TV show.

The Irish comic book mistake left Jenni a winner – taking home £ 6,000 for her charity.

In her post-show interview, Jenni said, “I’m totally overwhelmed, blown away that I won.

“When Romesh said I won I didn’t really know what to do, so I kind of went ‘woo’ in the worst celebration ever.

“But I’m so thrilled, so proud that I made it through The Weakest Link, all the way and then earn money for charity.

“It’s just awesome.”

She fought against other competitors Jordan North, Richie Anderson, Pat Sharp, Grace Dent and Roman Kemp in the first round of the year.

After winning £ 6,000, Jenni’s chosen charity congratulated her online.

The Children’s Trust shared a photo of her on the show and said, “She has done it again!

“A huge thank you and congratulations to our Ambassador @Jennifalconer for winning £ 6,000 for The Children’s Trust tonight on the weakest link!

“Thank you for your continued support and a grand total for ushering in the New Year.”

Fans rushed to congratulate the Scottish star.

One fan wrote: “Thank you @Jennifalconer for fundraising for @Childrens_Trust on The Weakest Link – you are such a brilliant ambassador.”


Another added: “Jenni Falconer takes it !!! £ 6,000 for her charity !!!”

A third simply said, “Well done.

The ITV star’s skills were recently praised when she and her teammates emerged victorious on The Chase celebrity Christmas special.

The team of four famous people defeated hunter Shaun Wallace and took home £ 200,000 for charity.

Her charitable nature saw Jenni tackle the London Marathon three times to raise funds, 2009, 2014 and 2019.
