Pantheon Infrastructure appoints former Woodford ACD Link to oversee fund

The move comes in the wake of Pantheon’s oversubscribed IPO in November 2021, which raised £ 100million more than its target.

Link Fund Solutions, which is currently overseeing the liquidation of the former Woodford Equity Income fund after its collapse in 2019 and is pushing back lawsuits for the role it played, will provide fund administration services to the trust.

The Company Matters division of Link Group will provide services as the Company Secretary and its Enterprise Markets team will act as the Registrar of the portfolio of yielding and growing infrastructure assets in developed markets, with a special emphasis on Europe and North America.

Gordon Shaw, Managing Director of Link Fund Solutions, said: “This partnership will expand our relationship with Pantheon Ventures and be able to offer our expertise to improve and support the business of Pantheon Infrastructure.

“We are able to draw on our extensive experience as a specialist investment trust fund administrator. We have invested heavily in first-class technology, and with high-quality service, we can provide customers with the economies of scale they are looking for.

“By providing such a robust, integrated and comprehensive set of services to Pantheon Infrastructure Plc and Pantheon Ventures (the appointed portfolio manager) of several Link Group companies, they will be free to focus their capabilities on achieving the investment objectives of the funds. “
