Preview: Capitals team up in Los Angeles on Saturday night

The Washington Capitals will host the Los Angeles Kings for the first of two meetings this season. The teams split their season streak last season, including a 3-2 win over Los Angeles in their only visit to the district on Dec. 20. Capital One Arena action can be seen on NBC Sports Washington on the market or ESPN+ out of market starting at 7 p.m. ET.


Los Angeles is ending a five-game road trip in hopes of winning its fourth after a 6-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday.

Washington makes a stop at home before setting off again for four in a row on the road. It will be their only match at Capital One Arena in six competitions after a 5-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators Thursday.
