Tenchi, Embody & Moss Kena Team Up For New Version Of Shaggy’s “It Wasn’t Me”

Tenchi, Embody and Moss Kena have teamed up with Grammy Award-winning recording artist Shaggy to release an all-new version of the dancehall/reggae icon’s legendary single “It Wasn’t Me.”

A combination of euphoric piano chords, an infectious bassline and Moss’ perfect vocals alongside newly recorded vocals from Shaggy himself, the new version turns “It Wasn’t Me” into a certified anthem. for the dance floor – while losing none of the sordid magic that made it so special the first time around.

Considered Shaggy’s breakthrough record, the multi-platinum original topped the charts in Australia, Austria, Flanders, France, Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, UK and USA . It was the biggest selling single of 2001 in the UK, selling over 1.15 million copies that year.

As the only dancehall artist to sell diamonds in music history, Shaggy has sold over 40 million albums to date, in addition to landing eight singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and seven albums on the Billboard 200 (including four in the top 40).
